I didn't even make inside the place when the bleached out/purple haired woman rudely clamored from across the parking lot "Can you get your dog in the car!!?" as opposed to a proper and polite option of say, 'Good morning, I can see you have your hands full, how can I help?', as it was obvious my pup had gotten out while I was trying to bring an injured bird out of my car. I explained and asked her if she could take the bird while I got the dog, instead she whined "We don't take birds" rather than a well-mannered, sympathetic reply like, "I am sorry, unfortunately we can't take birds in, but perhaps you could try ......'. The other woman just leaned out of the main entrance the whole time making a face.. all of which transpired in less than 2-3 minutes. Shame, now even the Humane Society lacks a basic philanthropic constitution.
